How do I set the AI to handle different things?

Brand new to game and I’m trying to figure out where in all these menus is the option to configure what the AI handles and what it does not. Any help would be appreciated.

Under the name that you used when you set up your league at the top of the screen (just to the right where it says file/game). Select that name and then select “managers office”. Then select the tab that says “managers option”. Then on the bottom right side of that screen are tasks you can assign to yourself or others (asst GM, manager).
Good luck and enjoy the game and ask if you have questions (which you will).

Trust me, it gets easier. (Or less confusing, anyway.) And as it gets less confusing you will discover more and more things to focus on and try out (and, if you are like me, obsess about.) And consequently, new things to be confused about.
(It helps if you cultivate an acceptance of ambiguity and don't mind repeatedly failing in order to learn. If you ask me, that is just part of the fun.)
