I'm enjoying watching the saga of my spot starter unfold. This guy started out in the rotation and stunk the joint out. I don't like to give up on guys so I tried him in the bullpen... and he was great. He's had a couple of starts since I gave up playing out games, due to injuries, and again.. terrible. Back in the bullpen... great.

This is probably the most dramatic difference between starting and relieving success I've seen in my admittedly limited time in OOTP (assuming the player has the tools to be a starter in the first place.)

I realized the starting IP is on the low side, but his starts haven't just been bad.. they've been abominable. Just couldn't do it any more. In long relief he's been solid.

Naturally he's unhappy about his current role, but I'm pretty sure he's the only one on the team who is. Sorta like that loading screen line about the pitcher getting pulled who says he's not tired and the manager says the outfielders are.
