Use real transaction in Historical mode?

Is this just a computer simulation option? All team trades signings etc. are exactly the way they were done historically regardless of win loss records or injuries?

Tried it starting in 1989, but Jack McDowell is stuck in free agency and is not on the White Sox. Would love to go to editor and put him on the White Sox. There are a few other players stuck in free agency as well. But Darryl Strawberry did get moved from the Mets to the Dodgers.

Jack McDowell, as you probably know, didn’t pitch at the major league level in 1989. So, he’s not going to appear on the CHW roster. If you can find him by doing a search, you could use the editor to assign him to CHW. At least, I think you could.

Your right, he was out in 1989. But he was on the team in 1990 and later. I thought he would be added after 1989 since I am in 1991. I don't see how you can move a player to a different team in editor?
