TBCB 2.5 : "Error : Could Not Open Target File" failure

I've stumbled upon this simulation and after seeing a few pictures, decided I wanted to give TBCB 2.5 (which has a demo) a try before I decided to buy any games.

When I installed this game on my Windows 10 - running computer, I found out that the game would install. . . but then fail to run the demo, stating that "It could not open target file" whenever I turned on the demo. I tried it in an old XP computer too, but it gave the same error.

Is there anything I am doing wrong in installing the game? Or is there a potential solution to this?

Not sure what's going on there? I use the 2013 version & after 4 years I had similar issues to what you describe - I was told the game/file was somehow corrupted. Shortly after that the computer itself crashed too.
