Scoring error - unearned run charged as earned
Detroit had the following sequence in a 1960 game against Baltimore - see attachments with screen shots.
1. Eddie Yost reached on a BB
2. Frank Bolling flied out to LF
3. Eddie Yost stole 2nd base
4. Eddie Yost advanced to 3rd base on a passed ball
5. Lou Berberet walked
6. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Coot Veal hit into a force out at 2B on a fielders choice - with Yost scoring and Veal reaching first.
7. Jim Bunning popped out to 3B
The run is clearly unearned since it would not have scored except for the passed ball, but it was credited as an earned run against Fisher (which would have been fine had it been a WP instead of a PB that moved Yost to 3rd)
