Couple Bugs

I did expansion before the first season of a standard MLB game (with *** and indy leagues).

After the expansion draft, I had a $26 M payroll against a $70 M budget but no money for FAs. I'm not sure why. Even counting up my scouting (6 M, draft (14 M), and player dev (6 M), that's $52 M total. I should have $18 M for FAs. The other expansion team had this same issue.

Not sure this is bug, but noting it just in case.

After the expo draft, I got to and completed the amateur draft fine.

However, for whatever reason, teams can try to trade for players I just drafted. I can also offer them in trades and teams will list them in "Make this work now!"

When I try the same on the existing teams, the "he can't be traded" message appears as expected. However, for the two expansion teams, it does not.

The game is correctly noting that the players were taken in the amateur draft.

Also got an issue in the Rule 5 draft. I selected four players, three of them were correctly marked as being taken and subject to the requisite rules. The fourth player, the last before I skipped my pick the following round and the draft ended, was not. He is also not noted as being selected in the draft (no event or note in "Acquired" field.

Another bug: Viewed the spray chart during a spring training game. Clicked Return to Game while the spray chart was up. Game crashed and Windows force closed it.

I believe when expanding there is a built in expansion fee in which causes the delta you are seeing.

Is you ammy draft moved to be right after expansion/rule 5 drafts

Yes, when expanding there is a fee which takes up ~1/4 of your budget the first year, which matches with the numbers you listed. That fee will decrease over time, but it's meant to prevent an expansion team coming in and signing every free agent.

There are still some issues when you go back and forth between games and spray charts in-game. If you have loaded a player spray chart normally outside the game before viewing in-game, things should work fine. I don't think we should be crashing anyways, but that will be fixed for the next patch due out early next week.

We'll have a look at the other issues mentioned (draft picks or rule 5 players). Do you remember the name of the last player that had the rule 5 issue?

Rule 5 player was Zach Davies on the Montreal Foxes.

Amateur draft was in it's usual spot and Rule 5 took place as usual the next offseason.

Speaking of - I'm now in 2020 and completed that amateur draft and SOME players are locked out of being traded.
