Receiving message/minor league injury notifications in-game

Posted this in the general forum because I wasn't sure if this was a bug or by design, but I'm pretty confident now that it is not by design.

While playing out games, I am getting minor league injury notifications and personal message notifications. The personal messages (thus far) have been tied to suspensions for brawls that just occurred in the current game.

As far as the minor league injury notifications...I want those to appear, but not in-game. In other words, de-selecting the "notify of minor league injuries" box won't solve my problem the way I would like it to. I still want those notifications, just not while I'm in the middle of a game. A workaround for it would be to disable BNN (so no games are simulated in the background), but I don't want that.

Can anyone speak to what changed in the coding that caused this? This has never been the case in all the years I've played OOTP (since OOTP 11).

I find it odd that no one has noticed this. At the very least, the "personal message" notification is easy to reproduce. Just intentionally hit a couple batters in a row to trigger a brawl. I don't believe I'm the only one experiencing this.

As I said in PM before, you shouldn't be getting those while playing out a game. To help with this, can you clarify:
-What specific notification settings are you using?
-What team do you control, and what options do you use (ie. GM-only, GM+manager, etc...)
-What game was being played? Was it your pro team or your minor league team?
-What game options were you using? Were you in full control of your team, or had you delegated some functions to the AI?

The more you let us know, the easier it should be for us to replicate this and figure out what's going on

Matt, I appreciate your attention to this. Just didn't know what other information I could provide. See my answers below:

Autoplay stops for personal messages (default setting). Notify of minor league injuries is checked. (That's not the default.)
-What team do you control, and what options do you use (ie. GM-only, GM+manager, etc...)
I control the Boston Red Sox as GM + Manager. The only thing I delegate to the AI is minor league rotations, lineups and depth charts. I handle promotions and demotions, which is why being notified of minor league injuries in-game is no good. The way it had been is notification would come during auto-play, pausing auto-play and sending me directly to the specific minor league team for which the injury occurred.

Major league team.
-What game options were you using? Were you in full control of your team, or had you delegated some functions to the AI?
As noted above, full control except minor league lineups, depth charts and rotations are delegated.

As I mentioned in my previous post, the personal message notification seems to only occur when there's a brawl. Said message which I can't view until after the game is complete (unless I "Save and Leave") pertains to suspensions being handed out.

There's some workarounds (as I've mentioned), but said workarounds hurt the immersion (i.e. disabling simulating the world in the background).
