Modified MLB template?

Hey all,

I've been trying to create a fictional version of the MLB where there aren't divisions, just two conferences (leagues). I've been trying to do so as a custom universe, but the game doesn't allow me to actually modify the structure of the MLB. Am I missing something, or is the only way to do this to recreate the MLB from scratch with my desired parameters?

If that is the case, has anyone else done this already that could save me some time?

Try something like this: Create a Custom Game and add MLB. Once the game is loaded go into League Setup and in the middle there should be a function called "Edit League Structure".

Make sure you're not in Challenge Mode and that you haven't progressed past the pre-season.
