Live Start Rosters

Not really sure where to start with this one. I was running through a few auto-sims when I noticed that the Live Start rosters for today (3/29/19) are not matching up with with those I'm finding online. I started some random checks, and not only are the 40 man rosters not matching, but some of the active rosters are off as well. Some recent transactions are not placing players with their proper clubs, although if you check the BNN page you may find the correct transaction noted. Try looking at Merandy Gonzalez, Mike Tauchman, Jesus Lopez, and Socrates Brito for starters. Then, take a look at the Yankees 25 man roster and you'll see a couple of players that haven't even made the 40 man roster in reality (Zach Zehner, Giovanny Urshela). I'm sure there are others.

First off, the live start rosters won't necessarily replicate MLB opening day rosters. We have a new roster-only update coming today which should do a better job at that.

Second, we are still working with our service provider on the rosters. There's some issues in the files we get that are causing some players like Tauchman or Morales to not move to their correct teams (depending on the order we parse files in). We'll hopefully have more updates on that next week.
