Double Steal Success Rates

So this seems to be a lingering issue for some time now.. Has anyone noticed the ridiculously high success rates of double steal attempts? Would there be any way to adjust that?

I noticed that too. If I do a double steal there is such a great chance that they both succeed.

On a side note I dont do single pitch - so when I hit pitch and the AI steals my catchers (no matter the rating) can almost NEVER catch the other batter.

Where is that double steal stat kept?
Or are you just knowing this from playing the game live and simmed?

I have noticed that the success rate seems unusually high but only if both runners are speedy and it's not infallible; just likely. If the trailing runner is a bit on the slow side, he will get nabbed.

For me, from playing the game I notice it. I tend to use it when I can knowing the probability is high

Yes I also notice double steal % is high.
If you use run and hit instead of steal second that % is also high.

I know this from playing pretty much every game live. The difference for me comes between success when double stealing vs. success when stealing third.

There is never a "false start" when double stealing, and when I have at least an average runner on first, I will almost always be successful. I remember one year a few versions ago I stole 20 bases with Mark McGwire just to see if I could do it.

Try adjusting the GAME_STEALING_SUCCESS in the engine.cfg. The default setting is 100

user\AppData\Roaming\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 20\config
