Can Not Create a New Game

I purchased OOTP 20 directly from OOTP a couple of weeks ago, created a historical game and have played it several times with no problem.

I tried to create a new game and it locks up with a picture of a ball field from center field. It does not matter what type of game (historical, standard, etc.) the result is the same.

I can still access and play the one game I started. Trying to create a new game from within this existing game yields the same result.

This happened before installing the most recent update of OOTP 20 and now has the same problem after installing the update. I have never been able to create a second game.

I have OOTP 18 and it is working fine with no problems.

I have tried running in administrative mode and have the same issue.

I am running Windows 10 with an Intel Core with 340 GHz and 120 GB of RAM.

Windows and all drivers are up to date.

Also tried turning off Virus Protection (Bitdefender).

No change.

Sorry that's happening!

At what specific point in the league creation process does it it lock up? What % shows just before that happens or what's the last text you see on the screen or button you hit before that happens?

As soon as I click on the type of game (Standard, etc) the picture of the field immediately! shows. There is no % or anything after that. Neither the cancel, minimize, nor exit functions work either.
