Players Not Resting - Perfect Team
See screenshots attached. I have manually swapped out players in these screenshots as I cannot seem to get players to rest with the 'Rest When Tired' field. I will sit here through a few file uploads but that's annoying.
This has led me to starting 14 fielders trying to fix this and now all my pitchers are tired so I have to go back and remove a fielder as it doesn't seem to help either having more alternates. Thoughts? They aren't exactly playing like they are tired (like Buster Posey is 10% in this photo but he's hitting .300 on the year). Anyone else having this issue. |

Yes, I did experience this issue, but I don't know if the solution applies to you. You could rotate those pictures so I could read them, but I think there is an issue with using a starter as a backup. In this case, you cannot have another starter backing up that guy. The backup to a starter who is also a backup elsewhere must be a bench player. Exception: in this last case you can still have another starter as a backup, but only if a bench player is listed in the Utility #2 box also.
so: LF backed up by bench player CF backed up by LF RF backed up by CF The RF never gets rest. But LF backed up by bench player CF backed up by LF and Util 2 is bench player RF backed up by CF the RF gets rested, because CF will play RF and Util 2 plays CF |
