Baseball Stars Association: 2 Spots Open

The Baseball Stars Association (BSA) has been in existence since May of 2010.

In ten years of OOTP Baseball, the league has completed 28 seasons and is currently in late August of it's 29th season.

I am not the Commissioner of the league, but I am one of the GM's and I wanted to share with you all that we have two spots available.

Here are some details that you'll need to know before deciding if this league is right for you.

OOTP Version: Currently using OOTP 20. A move to 21 will happen, however it is more likely to happen after next season rather than after our current one.

Players: The BSA is a fictional based player universe with a feeder league.

Scouts/Coaches: Scouting and Coaches are on. Scout accuracy is Normal.

Sim Length: The commish sims 7 days per sim, utilizing the Real Time Sim feature so GM's can watch their team play. The typical schedule is Sunday-Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday with 2pm est deadlines/sims.

Ratings Scale: 1-20 with individual potential ratings only shown - and the only overall rating is a star rating.

Budget: Revenue controls budget.

Participation Rewards: GM's can earn rewards by submitting monthly reviews of their team (there are templates available if you wish) and also earn points by exporting their team. These rewards are then used in the offseason to impact the potential of farm system players.

Commish: The commish owns the Vista Panthers. He's a very trust worthy individual, and took over the league after the previous commish's job duties made it impossible for the league to survive under his leadership. Our commish communicates well, and is consistent with his rulings and sims.

I run my own league in which I do NOT own a team, so trust me when I say - I wouldn't recommend you join this league where the commish owns a team if I didn't fully trust his ability and fairness.

Teams Avail: Two pretty good opportunities for you. Nassau & Atlanta are available. Both franchises are not in shambles, in fact one of them is a contender and the other has some pretty good prospects to build around.

Been in this league for several years. Great group of guys and a competitive league. Highly recommended!

Been in the BSA since the 2017 season and have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the league. Took over a crappy team, suffered through 5-6 horrible seasons and then have missed the playoffs just once since and we are currently in the 2037 season. There's a lot of history in the league and we'd love to have you become part of that history!

The financials in this league can be rough - don't go handing out money left and right.

Live sims most sim days when games are happening.

Excellent commish.

Love the challenge of scouting in this one as only potential is shown. Besides getting to know and interacting with the GMs, this might well be my favorite part/challenge of the BSA that makes it quite unique from other leagues I've tried.

Atlanta has some solid young guys. Nassau is older but competitive.

BSA is fun league. Very competitive and welcoming group of GMs that will help you learn if you are new. Commish is very committed, active and flexible. Strong recommend for any and all players. If you like watching the sims happen live, you’d love this league. I’ve personally been in the league for about 6 season now with two different teams. Team building styles vary widely in this league, which makes the trade market very active and free agency quite fun
