FTP Help!

I really think I am missing something. How do the GM's download the save file? Can they download it through the ftp server? If so how?

Do they download it in-game, or do they have to download it from the server and then move the files to the correct folder and then load that game? That seems really annoying if that's the case so I'm guessing that's wrong...

If not than what is the point of the ftp server?

I really would like a clear explanation if someone has the time.

Yes I read that and did all the steps but it doesn't explain how the GM's download the new files.

Thank you for replying Adam B, but this does not answer my question. I'm not trying to be difficult. This is my first online experience with the game so bare with me.

Those instruct only tell me how to start and set up the league files. I figured that part out, but how does the other gm get their hands on the league files? What actual information in the online settings tells the GMs to load the new game file? Or do they have to download the game files outside of the game and then put it in their saved game folder and then load the game that way. (That seems very tedious)

Or is there a button somewhere where the gm can load the game from the saved files that are on the ftp server?

Yes, the league files have to be distributed by the commissioner to the owners, via whatever means is convenient for them. The individual owners then download and unzip the files into their saved game folder to get the updated version of the league.
