newly drafted players assigned to active roster immediately post draft and won't leave

Just completed draft for 2032 season.

Players after the 5th round were immediately placed on active roster (26 man roster) instead of being assigned to the minors.

I DFA them, and they stay on the active roster. I cannot send them down to the minors - they just stay on the active roster.

I am uploading the league files to the FTP under "Tree League Baseball".

as a follow up, it is apparently allowing me to demote them to the minor leagues, just not the rookie leagues. Why might that be?

Do you have some sort of age or nationality limit or other limit on the rookie leagues that might disqualify them?

I do not. I've been playing since 2020, and it began happening out of nowhere - no changes made that i'm aware of.

I did think overnight that maybe there's a maximum number of roster spots available on the AZL team they're normally assigned to, so the sim is confused?

following up on this, because it has again happened in the 2033 draft.

in essence, all these players seem to have Major League Contracts.

I would love to know it's something stupid i've done, instead of a glitch. that's what i'm rooting for, anyway.

By default, we try to fill the bottom team, but there's a cap at 200 players at a level on a team. So since it looks like your bottom rookie-level team is at that limit, it just defaults to adding them to your pro roster. I'd suggest clearing out players at the bottom level to avoid that.

i was trying to find something like that somewhere on the boards, because i had a feeling that was going on, but i couldn't find it anywhere.
