Trade question quandry
As I zip through the 2029-2030 offseason with the my St. Louis River Walkers, I am confused why the Rockford Lightning keep offering me the No. 8 rated outfield prospect Wade Martin in trade.
I am in desperate need of a power-hitting outfielder. I offer up a bundle and they refruse it. But when I try to deal for for their 27-year old left fielder, Jose Ramirez.with a similar package, and he's a five-star, five-star and just finished top 10 in the MVP voting, they want to jump all over it. I should jump at the deal, but don't want feel like I the game over. BTW-, the team has no money issues so it isn't over a current or future contract. Last edited by TC Dale; 10-09-2020 at 01:58 PM. What are your team and league financials like? Both players are signed through the end of your current year. That 5-Star guy is already making $7M per season. Odds are, he's going to want a mountain of money to sign a new deal with a team. The other guy, however, is only making $545K per season.
I'm sorry, but I'm short on time and I could only take a quick look at the two players. I'm sure smarter people will reply soon.

Scouting accuracy shows low on both players they must have them scouted differently is all I figure when I'm not sure why a team is offering certain trades.
