Disable Autoplay

I need help disabling autoplay so I can play/manage multiple teams on a given day. So far I have not heard a coherent answer and the manual is a riddle. I did it in a previous iteration but can't remember it.

Mine doesn't allow you to change it.

You can only change it pregame, not once a game is started.
