Cannot Open Template File Error Message

I use an mlb setup, but have an indy league that holds an FA draft two days after the mlb draft.

I clicked fantasy draft by accident when I wanted to do a FA draft. I had backup up right before I did the draft, so restored it, but now am getting a missing tpl or template error.

I reinstalled the latest patch, but that did not clear anything up. Same error.

This can happen if the folders get messed up and the game is trying to write to a folder where you don't have write access. I'd suggest backing up the save and any data, uninstalling again, deleting all OOTP folders left behind, especially any database folders, then reinstalling again. That should fix it.

It didn't work. I simmed ahead a day, cleared all the rosters and started over. The only issue now is that I have a lot of bogus history that I want to clear out.
