Historical Simulation Question

Not sure if I am doing something wrong.

Went to start a historical season and everything is accurate and awesome except ownership. 1979 Yankees are owned by some dude in never heard of.

Am I setting it up wrong or does the historic simulations only apply to players and coaches and not owners?.

Just curious doesn’t impact the love for the game

Historical is a separate database from the one we use for a standard game and doesn't include owners and such.

Owner names are not included in the historical database. But it's possible, once you create a league, to edit the owner names manually.

The coaches are not accurate either for some reason.
I do not understand why GM and coaches are not included.

Does someone have a quick start with all the correct owners and coaches?

My guess would be that the developers didn't think it was worth the time and effort to provide accurate names for the owners, GMs, coaches, etc for every historical season

Bigrod are you able to update the historical database? There are issues with players having estimated strikeouts in their real player statistics. This is because at one time those statistics did not exist for some seasons and were estimated for OOTP so that batters were not importing with 0 strikeouts and receiving wrong ratings. The strikeouts are now available and have been for a while but this has never been updated. I can provide you the seasons with the issues, but for example go online and bring up Ty Cobb and compare his real strikeouts to what are in the database for the game.
