Playing Game on Multiple Devices

New user and may be a dumb question but can you play on multiple devices?

Laptop and desktop? Guessing would have to save game files to a memory stick.

Thanks in advance.

By purchasing the game, you can install and play on two machines. Playing the same save on two different machines would require an external drive of some sort.

I recall a thread here a couple of years ago (I may have even started it?) about storing your save on Dropbox or similar. I think the consensus was that it's possible but that league files are big and dynamic syncing could cause performance/network issues.

I save everything to an external SD card as I find that waiting on Onedrive to sync everything is far too much of a pain and there's no way to force sync with onedrive that I am aware of as of this writing. I bought through steam because I use three different computers so for me it's a process of installing OOTP on each device and pointing the game to look on my SD card for saved games. Given that I've had two 128GB lexar flash drives fail, I prefer to use an SD card over a flash drive. Plus, the SD card works well for my windows surface where I need the portability and to keep the only USB slot open.

OOTP 21 - move from desktop to laptop

I just got a new laptop and that's most likely the computer I'll be using for the time being. I'd like to move the OOTP franchise I have on my desktop to my laptop. Which files would I have to copy onto a thumb drive and transfer over to get this to work?

I realize that afterwords if I would ever want to move it back and play on the old computer (which I don't think I will) I'd just have to transfer the latest league files and replace the old ones on whichever computer I'm moving to?

Not sure if it matters to the process, but both computers are Mac OS.
