Number of teams I can manage

I normally prefer to play season replays in which I manage all of the teams in particular league. That includes setting rosters and lineups and making all in-game strategic and tactical decisions for all of the teams in a league. For example, if I want to replay the 1920 American League season. I would set the rosters and lineups and make all of the in-game decisions in all 154 games for all of the 8 teams throughout the season.

From what I've seen so far, I can name myself commissioner and have access to all teams. With regard to individual games, I can choose which specific game to play on any day of the schedule. However, once I play that game the remaining games that day are played out by autoplay. Is there any way that I can disable the autoplay function for the other games so that I can manage both teams in those games? If so, how can I do that?

Did you get an answer on this? I'm having a similar challenge.

Running a league with three managers (not being GMs) in the same household with same computer. When one of us plays our game, the other two games play automatically for us.

Also, if you want to control all teams all the time, there is an option in your league setup.

Click on "League Settings" Tab, then "Functions" Tab. Middle column, 2nd from the bottom - set all teams to controlled by "xxxxx" (your manager name). This will put you permanently in charge of the teams, better than Commish Mode since that is not designed to be used for full time control.

I have tried this with no success. I still can only play one game per schedule day. Do I turn off computer manager before setting all teams controlled by XXXXX?
