Game crashes after inserting a replacement for injured player

Third game of the 2020 season at Oakland. Eddie Rosario, my left fielder, gets injured so I am taken to the replacement screen. I insert Max Kepler as a replacement. Its promps the "Are you sure" message so I click "yes" and the game suddenly crashes.

Version 21.1 Build 32

Windows 10 OS

Thank you! In the meantime I was looking for the option to turn off that confirmation popup. Do you know if there is an option to turn off the confirmation popup?

I also experienced this same crash yesterday due to replacing an injured player. Hopefully, it gets fixed soon!

I downloaded the new patch last night but my game randomly froze again while I was playing against the Angels. Instead of an instant crash, I received the "Not Responding" message. I've never had any of these problems with past versions of OOTP Baseball. I'm on Windows 10 and I play the game on Steam.

I think this happens with players that have been tossed too, I just crashed after inserting a player into the lineup to cover for my 3B that got tossed. Running 21.1.32 standalone.

Still happening to me. Every...single...time a player is injured mid game and I try to insert a replacement. It lets me select the replacement, drag it over, but when I click to finish...whole game crashes.

I unclicked confirm substitutions on the start up screen and havent seen this issue as a temporary solution until its fixed.

Good info and probably why I haven't seen it. I never use the confirm sub option.

Did find a situation where if your catcher was hurt we still had issues. Anyone who has experienced this since updating to version 21.1.33 or 21.1.34, the more you can say about who got hurt and in what situation, the more we can potentially track down if there are still issues.

I've been having this problem, just started this week. It's happened the last four times someone has gotten injured in game. Twice it was Xander Bogaerts and twice Jackie Bradley Jr. I tried unclicking the confirm sub option but it still crashed after inserting the replacement player. I'm playing on a PC.

FWIW I have still never had this happen in my game with any build. And as noted above I have never used "confirm sub". Playing on PC.

Playing on a Mac. I also do not confirm subs, and it happens roughly 50-60% of the time. It's a lot of fun to play until the 8th inning of a game and "poof" it's gone.

It also has happened for years if you tried to implement a double switch, but I just pretend that part of baseball never existed, because why throw something against the wall three times a day as opposed to once?
