7-inning doubleheaders

Is there a way to schedule 7-inning doubleheaders like MLB is doing IRL?

how about having your pitching coach pitch to your team during the game? Have a safety base on 1st?

I imagine there was a lot of facepalming going on with the dev team once the 7-inning doubleheader stuff was announced. They'd just finalized their patch to add the new playoff format that MLB released in the 11th hour, and then MLB says "Oh wait a minute..."
