Portland Chinook

When looking for a creative expansion design for the city of Portland, I stumbled upon a thread posted by nielsoncp in which he designed uniforms for the Portland Chinook. He was able to get the designs and permission to bring the ideas to life for OOTP from Tyler Rogers on the SportsLogo Forums. Since nielsoncp only did the base jerseys, I decided to create the alternate uniforms, the alternate cap, and clean up the smaller fish logo in the shape of a C. I designed the alternate jerseys with the goal of using them for Portland's future rookie ball teams. Thanks to nielsoncp for beginning this project and designing the Sport Oregon Stadium that the Chinook will one day play in.

I also redesigned the base jerseys with the color codes that I used for the above alternate jerseys and updated the nielsencp caps with my color codes too if anyone is interested.

Last, but not least, are the logos that nielsencp had posted on his page to complete this collection. I added in the wordmarks that I edited and cleaned up in case anyone else would like to design additional alternate jerseys in the future.

These Portland uniforms are great. I'm going to rebrand my Portland team because their stadium has the Chinook logo on the center field scoreboard.

One final adjustment, after a little pondering, I felt the sleeve patch was too big on the jerseys...so I made it a little smaller and centered it better. Additionally, I reworked the away cap with a green outline around the "P" on the cap to have it stand out a little more. I updated above.

This combination is exactly the reason why I was deciding to go with Portland as the Chinooks. Nielsencp did an amazing job on that custom stadium. When you add it together with this logo and uniform set, I think Portland has to be an expansion team!!!!

Bonus: When redoing the sleeve patches, I added a 2nd version of the alternate away jersey. I changed the white font to the green font to make the jersey pop more. To compliment it, I made another version of the alternate cap AND another version of the away cap. Last, a second home jersey was added if you prefer the blue color more than the green.
