Minor league managers

Does it make sense to delegate minor league FA signings to minor league managers or they would just mess up everything?

Don't have the game open at the moment, but IIRC, this also gives them control over who to release, right? I would not give that permission to anyone other than yourself. If it's just signing guys, sure. But giving them permission to release who they please isn't the way to go.

The player has the option to either stay on the contract or become a free agent

So, if a player has a 5 year contract with an opt out after year 3, after the third year they can either become a free agent or finish the next two years
