Game crash when selecting particular player

So I'm currently in the 34-35 season and I have no bugs, except when clicking on one particular player. If I hover over his name in 'roster', I have an overview of his goals, assists and points of the season but I can't select him or the game always crashes. I don't have that issue with other players though. What's wrong?

Most likely some kind of data error (since it's not crashing when you hover over it, facegen probably isn't to blame, which is the other potential cause), but I'd have to see the save to figure out exactly what it is. If you can upload it (instructions here), I'll take a look.

I posted it as 'EDM 22 start' and took out the graphics folder before zipping (hope you don't need it). Would love to see his career stats as he's a 160 point monster. Player in question is Connor Bedard.

I've since foolishly continued the game. Would that file be compatible with the current version (about half a season later)? If not, I'm terribly sorry and I'll reupload the file under the same name and I'll then wait before continuing the game.
