53 days

I know when FOTF came out a lot of folks were upset (myself included) that these cards seemed out of reach.

Well, as an F2P player, I am now the proud owner of one of the best cards in the game. 53 days is what it took for me to grind out FOTF Gwynn from tourney earnings & live spec.

And it could be much quicker, if you aren't dumb like me and don't try to build it. The buy price on Gwynn has come way, way down too.

I mean you are kind of the tournament king lol. My 320 does not rank too poorly but it pales in comparison in comparison to your 1000+

lol well that made my day, thank you. But in truth my win count is not super impressive, I just spam the smaller Bo3 tourneys relentlessly

Chazzy has a dedicated team around the world. No matter what time of day one of them is on spamming tournaments.

That is a lot to save up as an FTP in just 53 days. What is the live spec?

Basically buying up live cards that you think are going to be adjusted upward. So for example a couple weeks ago Manny Machado was rated 89, and was hitting really well, so he was a good target. I managed to buy 8 copies near L7 (1300) and when those turned into diamonds I quicksold them for 32k for a pretty nice profit.

But in the end I probably have only profited about 100k total from live spec, less than a quarter of Gwynn's cost. The majority of my income is definitely from grinding tourneys (5.5k per day on average)

I think I got Robbie Alomar a bit quicker, maybe he is less desired. I find it around a month to grind out the FOTF. I mostly do the Bronze 1K tourney to get points.

Go to "perfect team universe" from the main menu and then "managers & rankings".

How many PP from tournaments are you getting per week these days?

I have been averaging double digit tourney income per day (11k) since they dropped the new cards a few weeks ago. So I guess that comes out to about 77k a week. The remainder coming from achievements & twitch drop card sales.
