Possible Trade Bug

Hi all,

I really like the new edition and the new features. I play FHM since version 5. Great work!

Nevertheless I might have found a bug.

Started a standard game in the NHL with the Philadelphia Flyers and activated the challenge mode. During the first season on Feb. 5th, I traded for the rights of Tim Stützle who was contracted to Ottawa but played for Seattle in the WHL. After the trade, in his player profile on the contract page there is still the information that he is contracted to Ottawa. The rights belong to Philadelphia. May this be a bug? I fear that I will not be able to send him to my roster after the season when he is still contracted to Ottawa.

Could you upload the save? (Instructions here) We've fixed similar problems before, but it's difficult to replicate them reliably, so I'd like to see exactly what went wrong in this case.

I just uploaded the file: 20200108_Tradebug1.lg

I also uploaded a file 20200108_Tradebug2.lg where I quickly simulated until next July and Stützle indeed returned to Ottawa although his rights still belong to Philly.

Thanks. This actually looks worse than in the past, neither his contract nor his rights moved over for some reason. We'll see why that's happening.
