Every year I always gripe about a gamey AI that i think likes to cheat!

Every year I always hope to win with my Mets and i cant win a title to save my life.

Every year I always think this game hates me and everything i stand for!

That being said...every year around this time...i look forward to saying two words that give me hope for the upcoming season and to show Markus how much i appreciate the work he's done over two decades of coding and programming this game...

Pre-ordered. Just discovered OOTP almost a year ago, and it's taken over my life. Well, at least most of my leisure time. So even if OOTP22 turns out to be the baseball simulator version of Cyberpunk 2077, I have no problem giving Markus & Co another $35 since OOTP21 was the best $35-40 I've spent in years.

As I've done just about every year since I started playing OOTP, I have pre-ordered.

That said, I feel kinda funny moving on to 22 when l don't feel as if I have gotten any real mileage out of OOTP 21 yet. I've only logged 127 hours and change playing 21, which makes it, by far, the least played version of OOTP I've owned since OOTP 2006.

It's just been such a odd, almost surreal year. Between the pandemic, the truncated baseball season, and all the other mishegoss that occurred, I just didn't find myself playing much OOTP this past year.

Here's hoping for a modicum of normalcy to return.

As someone who has health issues "21" really helped me get through pandemic issues.
