For what it's worth, I think I'd have been slightly less disturbed to read "death: car accident."

Same thing happened to my Jonathan Druin. He was only gone for 3 weeks surprisingly. What a trooper. I think I would have gone for a year had it happened to me.

It happened in real life to Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina, keeping him out for a month. Apparently, he was able to play baseball again before he could have sex...

For that injury, fair enough. Though, I remember wearing jockstraps to prevent that. I do not appreciate a person missing 3-4 games with a bruised thumb.
