True Neutral Baseball League

True Neutral Baseball League (TNBL) is currently looking for a two GM's to join!!!

League Information:

All settings have been changed to be as neutral as possible giving every GM a level playing field (from Financials to Ballpark Factors). The purpose of this league is to give everyone a fair shot at winning it all.

Market sizes are equal, and the budget you have is based on how you do in the season.

There are 24 total teams that are currently in one division, with the top 12 teams advancing to the playoffs. We will be moving to a promotion/regulation format after the next season which will add some new strategy and excitement. The championship is streamed via Twitch.

General Information about the league

OOTP Version: OOTP 22
Players: Fictional
# Of Teams: 24
Exports Days: Sunday through Thursday, sim times can vary, but generally around 9:00 PM Eastern. Sunday sims are around 3:00 PM eastern.

League Time Per Sim: 7 days
Current time: Opening Day

Available Teams:

Houston Matadors:
The Matadors are considered a rebuilding team with a lot of payroll flexibility coming in the next few seasons. Their lineup features one of the league's best players in Burt Powell. This team's farm system ranks as a middle of the pact in this league. Definitely some attractive trade chips as the Matadors are moving into the 3rd season of rebuilding coming off a 6 year playoff run,
Hilton Head Hitmen:
A team that ranked towards the bottom of the standings last season, the Hitmen have some good things going for them with extreme payroll flexibility moving forward in the coming seasons. They also have a middle of the pact minor league system. The hitmen have some very good young players and older veterans who have strong value for new GMs to build around or trade.

We have a very competitive group of teams who make for a vibrant and fun league. This league has a great group of people who are active and invested in the league.

We use Slack for communication and we have Slack linked with Stats+. No forums, no email chains.

If you are interested in joining TNBL league, comment below, PM me and/or reach out to me via email at Jonathanyankees59200@gmail.com. We would love for you to join.

Louisville has been claimed.

Still open:

1. The Cloud City Pirates (93-68) are one of the most decorated teams in the league (our version of the Yankees from a historical perspective), and probably on of the most talent-laden rosters in the league today. The crown jewel of which is 26-year old CF Mario Cervantez. Cervantez won the Rookie of the Year award two years ago when he burst onto the scene with 34 HRs and 59 SBs, and he hasn't slowed done, posting 37 and 67 and 37 60 the past two seasons. CC also boasts one of the best pitching staffs in the league.

2. Myrtle Beach Mermen (81-80) are known for their 1-2 SP punch of Kelvin Bustamente (17-12) and 2045 Top Pitcher Arend Johannsen (16-12). But at 32 and 34 years old respectively, the window may be closing on the team's top pair. With a few solid young hitters, and the league's #6 ranked pitching staff, this would be a great team for a GM how wants to move a few pieces and try to get two future HOFers their chip.

3. The Los Angeles Angels are not for the faint of heart. They ranked in the bottom 5 in most statistical categories and they only have one prospect ranked higher than #50. A GM looking for a challenge might look to move two-time champion and top WAR player 3B Dave Gomez to start the rebuild.
