Including Cash in Trades

When I try to include cash in trades either sending or receiving, the box is grayed out and won’t allow an entry.

I’ve searched under game options and can’t find the setting to enable cash in trades.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Ensure you are playing with financials turned on and that your team and/or the other team has budget room to make the money part of it work. Can't offer something you don't have.
