Team Affiliations Broken With Import From FHM7

After importing my FHM7 save to FHM8 I noticed that my minor league affiliates are no longer affiliated. This save is from a custom game with top league, minor league, and junior league. I noticed during training camp that teams had a reserve list, but I figured that the reserve list would go away once the regular season started.

I think I've figured out what happened. I had tweaked the teams budgets by adding about 10 million to each team. For some reason this removed the affiliates and created the reserve list for each team.

To verify, I re-imported and all of the affiliates were there. I then repeated adding money to the budgets and the same thing happened.

Yes, this is my real issue. It is not an import issue as I originally thought. It was because I edited the teams budgets. I did this because the budgets seemed very low and NO big free agents were signing anywhere. After adding money to the budgets teams signed free agents.

Why doe this remove the affiliations and create a reserve roster?

I tested this again. This time I added 1 dollar to only 1 team's budget and it removed the affiliations and it un-greyed out the reserve roster reserve roster. I don't think this should happen.

What can I do to give the teams more money without this happening?

Editing teams seems to be removing the affiliations for some reason. We're hoping to have this fixed soon.

Thanks, Jeff. Is this only happening in FHM8? I was thinking of adding to each teams budget in FHM7 and then importing to 8.

I was having this problem creating a new custom world using the NHL+AHL+CHL model and I wanted to edit all the teams but they all got unaffiliated when I did
