Major League vs Indy League Budgets
I notice that some of the Independent Leagues have the "owner decides budget" feature enabled while other do not. Is this done on purpose for a reason, or is it just because the leagues were put together by different people, some who happen to enable it, while others did not???
I am just wondering if there was a reason for the differences? I'd rather have all my leagues on the same page, but I am not sure if I should touch anything when it comes to budgets. |

I assume nobody but the developers know what is going on with this.

Lately I have really been wondering just how well all of these leagues work together in "concert". I know many over the years have said they work OK, but to me, there are a lot of inconsistencies such as these named in this thread, as well as other strange reports, where it's being reported that staff from INDY leagues cannot be pryed away from their respective teams, and I have also seen a lot of cases where it makes no sense for AAA caliber players with an obvious shot of getting a little MLB time (perhaps) and still choosing to play in the independent leagues. All you then have to do is purchase the player, (it will cost $250) and they are automatically signed to a minor league deal. It just doesn't feel right, and I can hardly believe that's how it happens IRL.
