Is 5th Not Considered Middle of the lineup?

In previous iterations of OOTP I was always under the impression 3-5 was considered "middle of the lineup" to keep players happy based on their expectations. Anytime I had a hitter with this expectation I put him 3rd-5th and the Morale for his role on the team was always high. I've batted Jose Ramirez 5th all season and he just emailed me this complaint. Has anyone else found this issue? I have not batted him any other slot than 5th vs either handed pitcher. What gives?

In both 21 and 22, I've had this happen to a player I bat 5th. It is certainly the "middle of the order" but not according to the programmers.

If they complain to much I just trade them.

Does the player ever become so dissatisfied that he won’t re-negotiate or demand a trade? If not they probably should in some cases. Obviously morale should be affected….but let me preface all of this by saying the 5 hole is certainly the middle of the lineup, and that clearly needs to be fixed as well.
