Just some kudos to the OOTP development team...
Massive kudos to the OOTP development team! I'm simultaneously constructing expansive 400+ team promotion/relegation leagues in Football Manager 22 and OOTP 22. Same teams, same leagues, same structure, different sports. While both builds are really enjoyable, OOTP is so much more user friendly when it comes to editing and "playing" in the sandbox. Football Manager's editor (which I've been using for years) is extremely complicated and one wrong tick of a box can send your build in all sorts of crazy directions. That said, since it is only a pre-game editor, whatever you build is permanent. No adding teams or leagues as you go. No adapting rules.
OOTP's editor and sandbox functions are fun, adaptable, and easily deciphered. So bravo for making a game that is a blast to adapt, mod, and change!

I have other sport sims including FHM7 & 8 which. While the other titles are fine programs, hands down OOTP is the easiest to mod sim program out there. It's not even close. When I say you can practically whatever you want with OOTP, it's not a figure of speech. If you can imagine it and have a little know how, you can do it in OOTP.
I can only dream that other sports sim titles were as easy to mod and as flexible as OOTP.
