Setting up a minor league

So I created a Indy league… I want to create a minor league for it for it to develop players for this league… when creating a league is there a way to link it up to he Indy league as a minor league… so picture this Indy league as the main league and then like NHL has minor forgets and prospects that’s what I’m looking for… I have a 60 player reserve but 24 for main roster so it allows us to have players on minor league instead of reserve list and not playing…

IIRC only "major" leagues can have affiliated minor leagues. But players on the reserve roster do develop though they don't accumulate stats.

possibly create your Indy league with an association? been a few years ago, but i had 2 leagues in MLB, and 2 more within an association (i created those teams as Major Leagues so they could have minors) - all the teams has 3 minor league levels within their structure.
as i mentioned, been a few years and i'd have a really hard time trying to explain how i did it off the top of my head. But it may work for you. Dunno. Just a thought. The association worked well enough (trades, draft picks etc) but wasn't perfectly fluid. i read the manual quite a few times before i got it working as i wanted. (if you try it, make lots of back-ups at various progress points (each with a unique name) - just in case something isn't what you want, so you don't have to redo everything from scratch.)
