Followers not eligible to win awards?

Are followers not eligible to win awards? My rotation had 4 followers this season, all at worst had a ERA in the low 2s and all won at least 20 games (Koufax went 28-0 with a 1.6x ERA). None of them even got a single vote for the Cy Young award. My only "real" starter meanwhile won the Cy Young award getting all 1st place votes while arguably being the 3rd best pitcher in my rotation.

Followers are less likely to win awards because the game values starts and considers them a reliever. For reliever of the year it values saves, so while you're more likely to win Reliever of the Year it's still not a sure thing.
