I really doubt that. I can't see them giving up on weeks of revenue through PT (not to mention the planning of content releases).

IMO the game will release around the same time frame as usual, with the potential changes coming in the form of patches and updates.

The only thing missing, if they follow their history, will be live card updates until they actually start playing again.

Yeah, I’m sure it’ll play out a lot the same as the 2020 MLB season, and we’ll just get stuck with the initial live ratings for a while. But from a tourney spamming point of view, that’s a positive. Not that I wouldn’t trade it for actual baseball, but at least there’s a silver lining.
