Creating a Draft Eligible Player

I've created some players and mimicked players that were in the next draft class. . .but they don't show as draft eligible. Am I missing something?

I give them same the exact age/junior preference, etc. but they never become available to draft.

Any help would be appreciated.

Check in the player editor: what are their league rights set to for the league you want to draft them? They should be on "None", if they're on Free the player won't be draftable.
