What to do when your 3 star, 26 year old third baseman will not stop making errors? He has a 55 error rating, yet has 20 errors through the early part of July.

I'd replace him. Check his contract status and try to trade or cut him.

No, it isn't. Also, he has made another error so its up to 22

Look at his WAR. It includes defense. Is it acceptable overall?

At 26 he can still improve defensively.
