Is there a way to change the Abbreviation for the All-star teams who could you tell which team is which when they are listed as AS1 and AS2

I don't know about changing them but I expect that AS1 is American League and AS2 is National League.

Yeah, I was wishing that too. I understand, with a single league ASG how is OOTP supposed to know what to call them, but why not ask us what we want to call them?

I don't use National and American League for the names of the leagues; instead, I use International and United League

I suspect then that International is AS1. Alphabetical.

You can set the league abbreviations to whatever you want under' League Settings' and then 'League & Teams'. That's what is used for the All-Star games. Or am I missing something?

Well in that case, its just as kq76 points out. You now have a set up of an ASG between divisions, not leagues and OOTP doesn't allow the user to designate abbreviations for divisions. It appears that it will use the abbreviation given for the sub-league and add numbers to the suffix.

If no sub-league abbreviation is designated by the player, it appears OOTP will default to AS-1 and AS-2. I've never used this set-up myself, so perhaps somebody else can confirm that.

Yes, that's what it does. For example, I'm currently playing a 16 team league with 4 divisions (yes, I know 6 team divs is far better, I plan on expanding). And the game sorts the players into 2 teams based on the order of the divisions, which is fine for my purposes, but then it names them "Team 1 All-Stars" and "Team 2 All-Stars" (and in some places, "AS1" and "AS2"). And if you know the league well enough, then you know which team is which, but from just the team names you wouldn't know. It'd be nice if you could just rename the team however you want, like West and East or North and South.

Going one step further, it'd be nice if you could assign which divisions' players play on which team. Otherwise, it seems to just assign the first half of the divisions to team 1 and the last half of them to team 2 (I haven't tested it with more than 4 divisions and I don't know what it does with 3).

I just tested a 3 division league and it says the league doesn't support an ASG, "it has just one division". That's unfortunate. I'm going to add a request to support simple drafting of ASG teams, like the NBA does.

I also tested a 6 division league and it did support an ASG and it does seem to, like I said above, split them with the first half of the divisions populating the first team and the second half the second team.

You need an even number of divisions to have an all-star game
