Coup d’etat Baseball League

CBL has just ended the 2028 season and have migrated from OOTP 22 to OOTP 23. We are in the arb period right now. We have a great, active group of GMs but have had a few teams that have been hard to get consistent GMs for.

We sim 7 days in game (Monday to Monday) 6 days a week. Monday-Saturday.

COUP D’ETAT BASEBALL LEAGUE CONSTITUTION

GENERAL:

The commissioners reserve the right to go to multi-week sims late in the offseason.
League communication is thru slack.
Please respect everyone. Consistent misconduct will result in ramifications.
Stats+ Enabled.

GAME SETTINGS

Tools and Pitch Ratings are on the 20-80 scale. OVR/POT are turned OFF.
Injuries on Realistic Modern Day
Player aging is turned to .975 for hitters and pitcher
Talent Change Randomness is turned to 125
There will be no indy league free agents
There will be international free agents
Scouting discoveries and generated INTL players will both be set to MORE
2% inflation will be baked in

LEAGUE RULES

CONTRACTS
Players must have received arbitration at least one time before receiving a multi year extension.
No vesting options

TRADES
The commissioners reserve the right to put a 24 hour hold on any trades deemed poor for league health, however, we will not actually veto any trades. This 24 hours is for GM’s to hear other offers and/or think about if they actually want to do the deal. Keep in mind the bigger the name, especially early on, the more likely it is this gets enforced. If you’re going to make a big trade, do your due diligence.

We currently have an opening for the Miami Marlins. This team just lost out in the 2030 World Series and has a great young team.

This league is very active on slack and exporting and has many long time OOTP players.

Sim Monday-Saturday 7 days per sim. Slack is a requirement. Please send me a PM or respond to this if you’re interested. We have 2-3 more sims of arbitration so now is the time to join this great league.
