How could I do this potential dynasty here easily enough, perhaps?

I'd perhaps like to start a dynasty that eventually would have ten different tiers to it. A dynasty which is also at least partly, if not entirely, inspired by camly's The Pit of Despair forum thread from several years ago, if at all possible. However, I honestly don't want to start with ten such tiers at the beginning of the game in question, for sure.

If I could, I really would like to start with 100 teams in each of two subleagues, then periodically relegate the worst teams to certain tiers as they are each created, over time. I'm seriously thinking about dividing the 100 original teams per subleague into four divisions apiece, to start with here, if I'm able to create a dynasty like this well enough somehow here.

I'd ideally like to reduce the number of teams in each top-tier subleague by at least four teams a season, if not more, until there are 80-84 teams in each of them. I'd also want to have the second-highest tier created after the first season, as well.

I want to have at least 8 teams in the second tier per subleague, but no more than 12, before I then create the third tier. And so on and so forth, until I have at least nine operational tiers in my setup, for sure.

Ultimately, I would like to have ten overall tiers of leagues with ten teams apiece in each relevant subleague for them, in two divisions per each such subleague, before the end of the first player generation for this dynasty, if I can, for sure.

So how could I perhaps best set up all the necessary dynasty-related things well enough so that I could then have the best potential related results here? I'm just curious, that's all, of course. Do you ever play any of these out for more than a few days? I mean, most of your posts are idea generation posts looking for engagement, which is cool -- we're all constantly ideating stuff -- but I feel like maybe you ought to play a league for a while and see how it goes and get immersed a bit.

Having done a lot of these massive leagues, they're extremely hard to keep up with and without a real hook to keep you engaged, you're going to get bored halfway before naming the minor league teams and then you'll be back here asking for 100 new logos for this entire league and teams.

It might be more fun to start small and grow your league out over time kinda like real life, leagues expand over time they don't start with 100s of teams or download some other leagues people have on here and then make your own changes to those universes.

Not knocking how you like to play, I certainly have lots of weird ways to play the game, but I just feel like you'd get a lot more engagement on your posts if you posted significantly less or at least, you didn't post a new idea every few minutes and post constantly looking for feedback on your ideas because I think no one replies -- I have you muted, tbh -- because you just post so so much and it's really distracting to the forum when these posts are largely requests of some kind.

I've got at least one primarily historical dynasty that was started in the calendar year of 1871 which has now gone past 1901, if not more than one, and I think the longest one that I've ever had to date has now gone about 40 or so years since its starting year, to about 1912 or so, last I checked it. I think I had to go back to just before the Federal League comes into things for dynasties, though, for some reason or reasons I can't think of at the moment, using a backup for one or more of them.

Most of my posts lately may not be idea-generation posts for certain new graphics I could use, but I will admit at least a good portion of them may be, in any case. I have also recently posted new graphics of my own, as well, to be sure, mostly in my main graphics thread. I can generally create sufficiently original uniforms and caps somewhat easily, but original logos still escape me, as well as new ballpark creation, for example, unfortunately.

I've tried really hard not to fill the forums too much with new request threads for quite some time, dc4579, like I no doubt used to do here. And for the most part, at least, I think I've generally managed to avoid doing so here, if not entirely.

I really hope I can somehow get this main writing project of mine done very soon, for sure. But it's often rather challenging for me here, as well. I've got quite a bit more to do for it, no doubt, and finding useful enough information I can potentially use while working on the aforementioned story in question isn't necessarily all that easy here for me. There are still quite a few things I'm almost certainly going to have to do a rather good deal of research and thinking about, in order to finish this particular story here, it seems to me. Especially seeing as I've never been in the military, for instance, personally. I like learning about a lot of things, for sure, but putting certain things together in plausible enough ways in certain stories isn't always that easy for me, for various reasons, whatever those might actually be for me at times in my own life.

My longest dynasty to date had Toad Ramsey earn 709 career regular-season wins, with over 6,000 strikeouts, for instance, I believe. My teams in that dynasty have earned 16 pennants and 9 World Series titles, overall, to date, in it, if memory serves me correctly here. If I can ever get back to it for a long enough time, somehow, I hope to get to at least 1921 with it before I then retire the primary starting manager I created at the beginning of the dynasty, and replace him with a descendant of his.

But I don't know if I'll be able to do that anytime soon, to be honest. Or at least not yet, anyway. Chances don't look good for that happening anytime soon, for various reasons, whether they're OOTP-related or not, in any case, for me here. Just so you know. Thanks again for your time. CD out.

As for the teams in question, I'd certainly be using already-made item sets for them all, if and whenever possible. Whether for historical teams or fictional ones, that is. I haven't created a dynasty with 200 overall teams in a certain league before, I believe, but that's something I'm obviously considering here, as mentioned above, for possible creation somewhere along the line, if I can do so well enough then.

I'd like to start with 100 teams in each subleague, as already stated, but eventually have those teams end up in ten different league levels, as they get created and all, until each level has 20 teams in it, at most. That's if I don't start out with ten tiers originally, at the start of the dynasty in question, of course, that is.

What might perhaps be the easiest way to go about potentially setting up a dynasty of this nature that uses promotion and relegation between up to ten levels here? I'm just wondering here, that's all. Should I begin with just one level, or with ten levels? Please advise, if and when you like and can, then, okay? Thank you. CD out.
