Where did you put your NHL expansion teams?

If you expanded the standard NHL game, how many teams did you expand by and where did you put them?

And, bonus question, did you relocate anyone and, if you did, what were the details?

For most saves I used to do I would relocate Arizona to Houston and end up expanding back to Hartford and Quebec. I end up keeping Arizona now cause I like their branding too much so I just make Houston an expansion team. I found a custom logo for Houston and made a jersey for them, and recreated the Whalers and Nordiques with the new Adidas Jerseys as well as AHL teams for them

Sounds good.

I am going with Kansas City/Houston to the Western Conference and an Ontario team in the East. Thought about QC but they seem like just a Bettman bargaining chip to get concessions out of other cities. But who knows. Maybe I will do a second expansion round in 2032 to 36 teams with KC/HOU and QC.

Oddly enough, I was at the HHOF last weekend and talked to a couple of other people also visiting and asked if Ontario ever got an expansion team, where would they put it. One guy said Markham and one said Hamilton. The first guy said it was the only option because Mississauga seems like a good place but they can't fill Steelhead games, Hamilton doesn't have the money, and, when I asked about someone outside the 50 mile limit like KW, he said it could work but those folks love their Rangers so would they sell out both teams?

Guess I have until the next update to make my choice.

Hamilton would be fun because it would be like the Buffalo dynamic where the team would draw a lot of attendance from current/former Leaf fans. It would make a fun rivalry because it would be like a second Toronto team practically and you could base the franchise off the Hamilton Tigers of the 1920s.
