Depth Player(s)
How many positions do you think it is wise to have a player as the primary back-up? So, if I have a bench player who is the primary back-up for 3 positions, is it perhaps spreading him too thin? Is it a better idea to have a player as the primary back-up for only one or two positions?
Any thoughts on this? Will the AI get confused? Is it a bad idea to make a player who serves as a defensive sub late in a game a primary back-up for multiple positions? Last edited by PSUColonel; 12-27-2022 at 08:47 PM. |

Without major injuries to the regulars, playing for the regulars when they are tired or have a DTD will get him maybe 30 starts a year. That's not spreading a player too thin.
Maybe you're thinking about what if you need two subs on the same day. The AI manager will handle this. No need to worry.
