Setting Uniform Home & Away for Play Mode stays the same?

I changed the away uniform color in "Team Colors Logo Uniforms" and when I play the game the home and away colors are the same. Is there another setting? When I set the Home Uniform it changes the Away to the same. Is there way to save the uniforms so they are different in the Game Play?

What I want is to see the 3D Play Field with two separate colors for the players. There is not much difference between playing the Dodgers and the Cubs, both being blue. And there are a ton of red colored teams too.

Where do these colors get set?

One picks up Cleveland Red and the other some default gray or blue.

I assume it is pulling the "Background" color from this page (screenshot).

Wow! Thanks. A lot to figure out. Is there a link to where these files are to be downloaded into? I see the files (logo Cap Pants) under the game and also in my game replay. Which do you use? Just starting so another link to a past discussion would help. png the same as ol file?

The files go in the main file folder, respectively. So, for the jerseys it is:

C:\Users\NAME\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 23\jerseys

The .oi files ship with the game and are associated with the current MLB licensed designs - so the .oi file format "locks" them from being edited.

From that uniform screen where I showed you the settings, you can also navigate to the folder the stuff is in and manually load a uniform, but the mod team usually has the name of the file in a format it will auto-load in particular years. So, if you want Cleveland to wear those garish, red alternate uniforms in 2022, you can just navigate to those uniform pieces and (at the bottom of that screen) lock them with a toggle to not update until you decide to change it.

It sounds more intimidating than it actually is

The .png files also work and but have the benefit of being editable. .pngs are the format that modders use when saving the new/tweaked/invented jerseys to allow them to be read by the game.

Did I miss the number 14 and name on the back of all the players? Is there a story I missed there?

Ah, the uniforms you have were made by silvam14... hence the 14.

I suspect that he is making the point to the developers that the uniform numbers in the game would fit on the back of the jerseys if they found a way to make it a variable overlay and tied to the player donning the uniform.
