Changing teams

Noob question here. I’m new to FHM and just recently got the game. I’m wondering if it’s possible to change teams within the same sim. I just started a GM only franchise with the Bruins and for realism sake down the road would like to explore the possibility of being the GM of another team. If this is possible, how does that typically work? Would job offers be performance based?

You can, but you need to get fired or to resign from your team. Beware! If you resign/get fired before June 30, you're not going to take any performance point even if you win the Stanley Cup, so especially resignings are at your own risk
