Lightbulb Suggestion for OOTP 24

Suggestion for "pitching options" - how about adding the "brushback" or
"knockdown" option for the pitcher. Batters are not always hit by pitch -
but the brushback or knockdown is sometimes an effective option for a pitcher.

Not bad, as that's something that can also be called for from the dugout.

Well done.

And I don’t like to put a guy on base.

Not to spoil the party, but how does this work in game? More chance of hitting a batter is obvious, just not the automatic of a beanball. What are the effects on a batter? Some batters come back motivated and crush the ball? Others come back rattled and have reduced performance?

What is the outcome and how is it determined?

Is it just something to give us an outlet for our frustrations and nothing more? I don't have a problem if that is the case. I think, unless something is posted here to change my mind, it would actually be my preference.

Unless there is an increased chance of the pitcher getting tossed out immediately, then NO.
