Transaction/IL quirks

In the 10 years or so I have been playing, I've never had this happen: Player moves with my team without my consent or counsel and players suddenly appearing on the injured list without having suffered any apparent injury. I am acting as manager and GM and playing in Commissioner Mode. Is this an OOTP 24 bug? Anyone else experienced this?

I have not seen this, and have not seen any mention of it. What settings are you using (particularly player development, TCR, missed seasons, actual transactions, and injury frequency)? Can you give some examples of what happened? I don’t play with historical transactions and missed seasons and injuries activated, and I suspect that is what you are seeing.

I'm using the same settings I have used for many seasons--in fact, I keep a cheat sheet listing all settings yet this is the first time this has occurred. And it just happened again: I got a Player Transaction News message informing me that I had just traded one of my best starters to St. Louis for an over-the-hill Lew Burdette. It is easy enough to reverse the deal(s), but it is somewhat of a pain and more of a mystery as to why this suddenly started happening. Thanks for responding!

Not to insult your intelligence or capability (but I have inadvertently slipped on these); but are you sure that you are listed as making all of the GM decisions for your team? (I fiddle between AI control of other teams, and toggling it off to prevent bad trades and dreadful AI lineup changes. Once, when I toggled back to AI control, I mistakenly included my team, by not choosing “non-human teams” as an exception.) One way to confirm is to click on your profile, and confirm it has you listed as in control. Failing that, this sounds like a bug, and I would encourage you to report it. It is odd that no one else has complained here. Generally speaking, a flaw like this in the game software would provoke a chorus of “me-too’s” for other users. Instead, crickets.

Yes, I am in control of all decisions as GM and Manager and am playing in Commissioner Mode. Curiously, although the game settings appear to be identical for the two seasons I am playing (1964 and 2023). these curious transactions have occurred only in1964 (two or three times) and haven't happened in 2023, although both are on about June 5 on the schedule. I should report it but am not sure how to go about it. Perhaps there is some misstep in the 1964 Game Settings, but I'll be damned if I can spot it. Thanks for your time and advice.

Hmmm you can always report it as a possible bug (or seek help through support). They will ask you to upload your game files, and perhaps a developer will spot something, Yeah, I had that exact thing happen. Missed one crucial setting, But it could also be a flaw.

Is it possible you are playing with real transactions/lineups in that 1964 game?
